Working with Newcomers – Understanding Pre-Migration and Trauma

This workshop focuses on giving a better understanding of the premigration experience of immigrants and refugees, the challenges they face as they settle in Canada and the impact of Trauma and PTSD. Participants will learn simple strategies to work with newcomer families and to support their resilience and integration. Lunch provided!
