Strong families mean everything to our community.

Helping over 900 families in Fort Saskatchewan & area every year. We help families through early childhood development with parenting programs and family support.

The Power of a Simple Donation

Whether it’s helping a child realize their full potential or giving a family a new start
your donation always makes an impact in the community.

When our community–our village–works together we will improve the lives of families. We create a safe environment to nurture future strong healthy generations.

$10/month – will feed children and families nutritious snacks and meals at our programs.

$20/month – will help remove barriers that are preventing people from leaving abusive relationships.

$50/month – will help ensure mental health and bereavement supports are accessible at Families First.

$100/month – will help sustain our prevention and early intervention programming. These important programs build families up and reduce the need of costly intervention services later on.

What We Do

Families walk through our door looking for programs in early childhood development or parenting. Sometimes they also need family support or a helping hand.

We offer:

programs for parents and their young children to play and learn together
programs just for parents and caregivers that provide opportunities to learn helpful tools from experienced facilitators and from each other
family support for those impacted by family violence, baby loss, or just needing a shoulder to lean on
